Blog to it update - Redesign and Swekey
In the last week there have been two big changed to Blog to it. The first being the theme and the second being the Swekey integration.
The original Blog to it theme was starting to look very cluttered and bogged down by color (below). I wanted something brighter, fresher, more open and modern. As I am not a designer I found this quite hard.
After looking around other sites and asking a few friends Blog to it's new theme was born (below). It is much more open and white with a lot less color. The way content is displayed has been changed, on the main pages posts are shown in speech bubbles like the logo, on user pages full posts are shown much like a traditional blog.
As I have said I am not a designer, and I still don't think the design of Blog to it is 100% finished. This is why I have signed Blog to it up for Get Satisfaction here you can ask questions, share ideas, report problems and give praise. Please head over to http://getsatisfaction.com/blogtoit to give your feedback.
Now onto Swekey. Swekey are a new company who have developed a USB authentication device.
"The swekey is a small USB key that secures access to any swekey enabled web sites.
Swekey secured web sites won't let you login without your swekey plugged to your computer.
The swekey can also be used to secure corporate's intranet, unix servers access, and database administration." - http://www.swekey.com/
Blog to it is now Swekey enabled so you can secure your Blog to it account with your Swekey.
