Disqus

The world of blogging hasn't really changed over the last few years, and web users are blogging just as much as they always have. One thing that seems to have changed is comments.

A few years ago Disqus was started, this spawned a little change in commenting. Disqus centralised all comments off the blog and allowed visitors to log in to comment using services such as facebook and twitter.

After seeing Disqus being used by Rob Loach I thought I would install it.

So what is Disqus?
Well it is basically a centralised commenting system. All Disqus enabled sites allow commenting, the comments are then stored with Disqus. If an author of the comment is a Disqus user their comment is affiliated to their account. Disqus users can specify friends and comments can be followed much like twitter posts are followed.
