Pioneer ending plasma production, or are they?

Pioneer released a press release on their web site yesterday stating that they are restructuring their Plasma production.

This sounded like bad news, like they were suggesting there would be no more fantastic Pioneer plasmas. I have had plans for years to one day own Pioneer plasma just like I have plans to own an posh german car.

Well on the same day pioneer blogged about the same topic, but now it was titled Business as usual for pioneer this made me feel a bit better. So maybe Pioneer will still be the premium TV they have been for the last few years. We will just have to wait and see.

Asus Eee PC 900 update

Well it looks like Asus have come out as planned and released more details on the new Asus Eee PC 900. The screen resolution will be a pretty good 1024x600.

This looks like a must have purchase later this year.
